Mac OS X 10.7 was first unveiled by Apple in October, also known as Lion. This is the eighth major version of Mac OS X, as part of a "back to the Mac" event, most influential to desktop and laptop products of Apple. The edition features multitouch functions, iOS homescreen-style Launchpad, full-screen apps, auto-save and auto-resume, auto-hiding scrollbars.
