Amazing Facts about Google

Google is a corporation invested in Internet search, cloud computing, and advertising technologies. It runs over one million servers in data centers around the world. Google also processes over one billion search requests every day. Anyone knows Google and uses its searching service. However, do you know how the first Google’s logo looks like, what the first Google’s snack is, what the most interesting thing in Google’s headquarter is or when Google sell its shares to the public for the first time? Not many people know these things. There are many other amazing facts about this search giant. Let’s have a look at the photos below to discover.
The First Google Logo
This is the first logo of Google. This Burning Man doodle was created in 1998 by the Google guys Brin and Page when they were on a vacation at the Burning Man festival in Nevada. The logo was designed as a kind of “out of office” message.
Google’s First Ever Tweet

In 2009, Google sent it’s first ever Twitter post with the message: “I’m 01100110 01100101 01100101 01101100 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01101100 01110101 01100011 01101011 01111001 00001010.”
The message means “I’m feeling lucky.”
Google’s Impact on Language
The word "Google" officially became a verb the prestigious Oxford English Dictionary in 2006. However, at that time, Google wrote in its blog that the company wanted people to use “Google” only in the case of referring to Google Inc. and its services.
Google Has a Company Dinosaur
One of the most interesting things in Google’s headquarter is the gigantic T-Rex skeleton named “Stan”. Other decorations are a scale replica of the SpaceShipOne, pink flamingos and a big LEGO man and so on.

Google sold its shares to the public for the first time in the summer of 2004 and the opening price for its stock was $85 per share.
Google Rents Goats

It is not a joke. Google has hired a large number of goats from a company called California Grazing to help clean up weeds and brushes around its headquarters.
Google’s First Ever Snack
In 1999, the chewy candy “Swedish Fish” became the first and official snack of Google. In Google office, its employees are offered free drinks and snacks.
